Leonard’s
Cars
Sometimes the smallest act of creativity can return someone to themselves.
During treatment, Leonard began drawing cars to pass the time. He filled page after page — over 1,000 drawings in just five months — each one full of colour, memory, and quiet determination. He passed away before his story could be shared. This project brings his work to life, so others can feel the joy it once gave him.
Client: UCLH Charity (University College London Hospitals Charity)
Output: Short documentary film and 2,000 printed colouring books featuring Leonard’s hand-drawn cars, distributed to patients and families to reduce boredom and encourage creativity during treatment.
