Sharpening a classic craft for the new Margate generation.
Margate Barber Co. is a long-standing barbershop with deep roots in Margate but no digital footprint. I led a full refresh of their brand identity — creating a new logo, building a Squarespace website, and integrating an online booking system to ensure the business could operate safely and efficiently during COVID-19. To bring personality and authenticity to the site, I shot professional headshots and candid in-shop photography to showcase the team and atmosphere. I also designed stencils for a local graffiti artist to spray the new logo onto freshly boarded-up shopfronts, turning safety measures into creative street branding. The result was a modernised, resilient barbershop identity that blends tradition with adaptability.
