A foldable moment of peace for hospital patients.

Working with Dr. Lizzie Burns during the pandemic, I helped turn her origami-based wellbeing project into a tactile, creative intervention for hospital patients across the UK. Together we created a cross-fold flyer designed to engage people in paper-folding as a calming, mindful activity — even in clinical or anxious environments.

I developed the logo and colour scheme, designed the leaflet layout, and illustrated and instructed the origami steps in a simple, engaging format that turned a single sheet of paper into both learning tool and creative outlet. I also produced an animated explainer video to bring the concept to life and support remote or digital engagement.

The result: 25,000 origami instruction leaflets distributed to hospitals and charities across the UK, helping patients, families, and isolated individuals find focus, comfort, and a sense of community during lockdown — one fold at a time.
